Gear Pump Rubber Preformer
Cold feed extruder with gear pump for the continuous production of rubber blanks
Our gear pump rubber preformers combine the plasticizing characteristics of cold feed screw extruders with the stability of gear pumps. The integration of these technologies ensures a continuous and stable material supply to the cutting system, regardless of variations in material or feed pressure. This results in enhanced cutting accuracy and consistent quality of rubber preforms throughout the production process.
Compared to traditional rubber preformers, our gear pump cold feed extruders offer uninterrupted rubber production and high capacity, and eliminate the need for preheating rubber on the open mill. This design offers high performance as well as user-friendly operation and labor-saving advantages.

Rubber extrusion is a process used to manufacture rubber products. This process involves using an extruder with various shaping dies to form primary rubber products of different shapes under high pressure.
In hot feed preforming, the rubber strip fed into the machine must be preheated and plasticized on a rubber mill before processing.
In cold feed preforming, the rubber strip does not require heating and is directly fed into the extruder.
